Restaurant Vermeer is an international acclaimed modern restaurant in the heart of the City of Amsterdam. The kitchen team focuses on innovation and quality. The main ingredients are always locally sourced, and some vegetables and herbs are harvested in and around Amsterdam. What will you do?

As a trainee at restaurant Vermeer, you play a key role in the restaurant; during your traineeship, you will have the opportunity to really learn about hospitality. During the day, you are responsible for both individual bookings and group requests.

You also work as a host and you’re responsible for giving guests an excellent first impression. You realise how important it is to meet the expectations of guests, so you give our guests an unforgettable and unique experience in restaurant Vermeer.

What will you do?

As an Intern Chef de Rang in Restaurant Vermeer you fulfill a key position within the restaurant. During your internship you will have the chance to really get acquainted with high-end fine dining and during the day you will be responsible for taking individual and group reservations.

You will work as a host and you will be responsible for giving the guest an excellent first impression. You are aware of how important it is to exceed the expectations of guests, so that they have an unforgettable and unique experience at Restaurant Vermeer

Who are you?

You have a passion for the culinary world! You are open and professional and enjoy speaking to guests and relations in Dutch and in English. You have good communication skills, you are flexible in terms of working hours, and you are able to work independently as well as in a team.
